First of all, it is important to restore control over the account on Gosuslugi, she noted. It is best to contact the MFC for this.

"Immediately check if your current phone number and e-mail are listed in your personal account, fraudsters could have changed them. In the "Security" section, end all active sessions on other devices, leaving only the current one," the lawyer recommended.

It is also important to check the notification feed and the "My statements" section.

"Contact the law enforcement agencies. Submit a report of illegal actions to the nearest police station or through the online reception on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia," Bakakina recommended.

The application should describe in detail how the contact with the scammers occurred, what actions they could have performed through the account, and whether suspicious notifications were received. It is advisable to attach all possible evidence and screenshots.

The lawyer also recommended requesting a report from the Credit History Bureau (BCI) through the Gosuslugi portal or directly to the BCI.
