Serbia will not fulfill contracts if there is a suspicion that its weapons will end up in Ukraine. This was announced on Thursday, May 29, by Serbian President Alexander Vucic on the RTS TV channel.

"I will certainly issue an order and a warning: where there is a suspicion of abuse on the part of the end user, that is, sending them to the front line, such contracts will not be fulfilled," the head of state said.

Vucic denied reports that Serbia supplied weapons to Ukraine through Africa. He noted that the country currently produces only for itself.

In addition, according to the Serbian leader, he has already discussed this issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Vucic did not disclose the details of the conversation, but clarified that a working group had been set up "to establish the facts."

Earlier, on May 21, Vucic said that he would not run away from the question of the head of diplomacy of the European Union (EU) Kai Kallas about a trip to Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). According to him, Callas was the only one at the European Political Community summit in Tirana who publicly condemned his trip to the Russian capital.
