- The sister of the captured military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Bespartochny told about his unwillingness to fight for Kiev

Ukrainian border guard Yevhen Bespartochny, who surrendered to the Russian military, did not want to go to the front for the Kiev regime. His cousin Ilaria told Izvestia about this on May 29.
According to her, the last time she and her brother corresponded was in 2022.
"His mom didn't want him to serve. And he was against it himself. He did not have a military ID, so he could not get a passport. That is, he was, in fact, not allowed to travel. He didn't really have a choice. He was very afraid <...>. I think he stayed with us for about a year without leaving the apartment at all. I stayed at home without leaving. He was just hiding," Ilaria said.
The girl added that Evgeny was caught right on the street by employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office).
The soldier voluntarily surrendered to Russian soldiers, which his relatives were very happy about.
"He joined the volunteer organization "Save life" (bot of the Telegram channel "North Wind". — Ed.). <...> We were glad that it happened voluntarily, that he made such a decision. I think this is a sound and wise decision, because there is nothing more precious than a human life," Ilaria explained.
The day before, Yevgeny Bespartochny's aunt urged her nephew to stay in Russia at all costs. After that, the former Ukrainian border guard asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to leave him in Russia until the end of active hostilities. In addition, Bezpartochny asked to consider the possibility of granting him political asylum, and in the future, to obtain Russian citizenship.
