In the Samara region, two children died in a fire in the utility room of an apartment building. This was reported on May 29 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"A fire broke out in a utility room located near an apartment building in the Krasnoyarsk region, as a result of which two children died," the Telegram channel says.

The ministry noted that a criminal case had been opened on this fact on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two or more persons").

All the circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
