The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) will have enough long-range missiles for 10 days during intense hostilities. This opinion was expressed by military expert, retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk on Thursday, May 29.

He noted that Kiev still has, for example, Storm Shadow and ATACMS missiles.

"I do not know the number, but I think that the Scalpels and Storm Shadow are no more than 100-120, ATACMS are within 100. There is some information about the Taurus, but I think it is unreliable. They are very limited. I think all types, including HIMARS and M270, are within half a thousand," the expert said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on May 28, during a press conference following a meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, evasively answered a question from journalists about the supply of Taurus cruise missiles to Kiev. According to the politician, on this day the intention of German Defense Ministers Boris Pistorius and Ukraine Rustem Umerov to cooperate more closely was confirmed.

On May 29, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, said that Russia has something to respond to Western states for lifting restrictions on the range of weapons strikes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
