The deputy from the AFD stated the risks for Germany due to the financing of Ukraine

Additional money as military aid to Ukraine poses a risk to Germany's security. This was stated on May 29 by Bundestag deputy from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party Markus Fronmaier.
"Further billions in aid combined with support for missile production is not only economically questionable, it poses significant risks to the security of our country," the deputy said in a statement on the party's website.
According to him, in three years Germany has spent about €48 billion to support Ukraine. Fronmeier also stressed that the German government risks causing an escalation in relations with Russia and undermines the chances of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, despite Trump's efforts.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on May 28 that Germany would provide military support to Ukraine in the amount of € 5 billion. During the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, the politician noted the immutability of Germany's position and stated that Berlin was committed to facilitating the joint efforts of Kiev's partners, including in the field of air defense.
