According to the expert, the wave of abnormally hot weather has reached its peak. The daily maximum temperature exceeded the mark of +25 degrees.

"By 13:00, the air temperature in the city, according to the capital's base weather station, VDNKh, reached +28.5 degrees," the Moscow City News agency quoted Leus as saying.

He specified that this is 0.8 degrees higher than the previous leader of the list of the warmest days, on May 25. In Lyubertsy, Moscow region, the temperature was recorded at +29.6 degrees.
