The expert recalled the safety rules for reservoirs in summer

Survival expert Eduard Khalilov spoke about the safety rules when staying near the water.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Thursday, May 29, the expert stressed that the main rule is not to abuse alcohol.
"Every time people drink in nature, the threshold of vigilance decreases, the feeling of fear disappears. And here the competition begins, who will swim further, who will jump higher — inadequate and unsafe actions," Khalilov explained.
According to him, it is also necessary to monitor children near reservoirs. It is best to swim only in specially prepared places where rescue posts and rescue services are equipped.
In addition, the expert urged to be careful in the sun to avoid heat stroke. Dangerous situations are when a person overheats and jumps into the water. This is fraught with loss of consciousness and cardiac arrest due to temperature changes. Khalilov also urged not to swim deep, as cramps may occur at any moment.
Earlier on May 29, residents of Moscow were warned against swimming in fountains. According to experts, there may be equipment inside the fountains that is easily damaged or injured. In addition, dust, precipitation and microorganisms can accumulate in the water, especially in the heat, Moscow 24 reports.
On May 28, it was reported that in 2025, the divers of the Mosvodostok will examine over 10 hectares of the bottom of ponds, lakes and small rivers, as well as 13 dams and five water outlets. This is necessary for the unhindered passage of surface waters during heavy precipitation and for maintaining the sanitary condition of water bodies, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
On May 27, it was reported that the beach season in the Moscow Region would open on Sunday, June 1. Annual preparatory work is currently underway.
