Fetisov called for finding solutions to environmental problems


It is necessary to take care of the environment and look for ways to solve environmental problems. This was announced on May 29 at the international business forum for sustainable development "Reputation. The Green World," Vyacheslav Fetisov, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia.
"It's not about money, it's about the future of our country, the planet, related to climate, ecology, water, soil degradation, and food quality <...>. These are the most important components of human life on planet Earth that are under serious strain today, including economic"- noted Fetisov.
According to him, the destruction of nature can lead to irreversible consequences for humanity and it is necessary to involve young people in solving the environmental problems that have arisen.
"After talking about the situation, we also asked the guys to go into these professions, which will help us find technologies that will help us find solutions to all issues, and most importantly, to understand what is most important — it is connected with their lives, with the lives of their children and grandchildren," — added the deputy.
He pointed out that a wide range of participants is represented at the forum, and an interesting discussion is underway.
International Business Forum for Sustainable Development "Reputation. The Green World started today in Moscow and brought together more than a thousand participants — young entrepreneurs and students from all over Russia.
Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said at the plenary session of the XI Nevsky International Ecological Congress on May 23 that effective management of natural resources is important for any state and for every person. According to him, the conservation of biological diversity is a challenge for all states and international cooperation plays a crucial role here.
