Voyah Free cars to be recalled in Russia

A recall campaign has been announced in Russia involving 468 Voyah Free vehicles sold from December 13, 2022 to December 12, 2024. This was announced on May 29 by the press service of Dongfeng Motor Rus.

The reason for the recall of cars is called "the identification and prevention of harm caused by the handling of Dongfeng Motor Corporation products due to the possible functioning of the interface is not in Russian."

Motorinvest, the official distributor of Voyah cars in the Russian Federation, will inform the owners of the recalled vehicles and invite them to dealerships.

On the recalled Voyah Free, dealers' specialists will check the language of the interface and, if necessary, update the software. All work for the owners will be free of charge.

The start of production of Chinese Voyah hybrid cars in the Lipetsk region at the Motorinvest enterprise became known in January of this year.

On April 24, it was reported that Voyah presented an upgraded Free crossover at the Shanghai International Motor Show. The model has received slight changes in appearance and new technologies.
