Among the surveyed respondents, two thirds of the respondents are convinced that it is important to divide the working professions into male and female. This is stated in the results of the survey of the job search and personnel service "Salary.ru" and the multiservice logistics operator PEC, which were reviewed by Izvestia on May 30.

However, 38% of the participants consider this approach to be "rather correct", and 18% — "absolutely correct". Every third respondent (34%) holds the opposite opinion.

The respondents are convinced that men better meet the requirements of most line specialties. According to the respondents, the least suitable professions for workers are loader (73%), truck driver (66%), plumber (53%), milling cutter (53%), welder (52%), railway operator (49%), car mechanic (45%), repairman furniture (43%).

The survey results are also confirmed by the employers' data. For example, the PEC employs mostly men for warehouse work.

"Many tasks are related to lifting and moving loads (weighing from three to 100 kg) on the territory of the sites. The proportion of women in the line staff segment does not exceed 5%. Most of them are employed as warehouse operators, service and customer department managers," said the head of the PEC Personnel Department.: LTL Daria Samoilova.

In PEC, Dentro and Ridan Trade, the women's team is concentrated mainly in the financial, accounting and human resources departments, said Daria Samoilova, HR Director of the transport company Elena Goryachkina and Head of logistics at the Ridan Trade trading and production company Evgeny Yablokov.

In turn, Marina Dudnik, HR Director of the Gruzovichkof service, said that since the beginning of the year, the proportion of women in the company's team has remained at the same level — 16%. She also noted that, according to research, women show a professional interest in the position of a car mechanic.

Men, according to the majority of survey participants, are least suited to professions from the beauty industry (nail, eyebrow, and eyelash care professionals). Almost two thirds of respondents believe that men should not work as fashion designers. One in three considers the work of a cleaner (33%) and a hairdresser (32%) unsuitable for men.

Earlier, on May 28, it was reported that among the surveyed employers, 33% are ready to raise an employee's salary if he is ready to focus on his main job and give up part-time work. At the same time, 51% of respondents believe that part-time work reduces an employee's productivity, as he simultaneously distributes energy and attention between several tasks. This is stated in the results of a study by the Russian School of Management.
