A bear attacked a 32-year-old resident of the village of Lenino in the Chuguevsky district of Primorsky Krai, the victim was hospitalized. This was announced on May 29 by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"The victim has been hospitalized. The police are conducting a check on this fact. The scene was examined by police officers. No wild animal has been found," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, a special group was formed to organize the search operation, which included police officers, hunters and representatives of the Department for the Protection and Regulation of the use of wildlife.

There are also discussions with hunters and local residents about the need to avoid dangerous areas of the forest.

On April 3, near the village of Sokolovo, a bear attacked a 29-year-old man who was in a forest plot. The victim was hospitalized with head and chest wounds, as well as a fractured shoulder, but he managed to survive.

A local resident shared with Izvestia on April 4 that the surviving man's face was badly injured. She clarified that the victim went to the forest for deer antlers, and after the predator attacked, he was able to seek help from rescuers.
