Veterinary medicine for worms found in Bryansk cheese "Starodubsky"

Medicines for worms have been found in Starodubsky cheese, which is produced in Bryansk. The Rosselkhoznadzor announced this on May 29.
"The manufacturer supplied processed sausage cheese with microbial transglutaminase and soft cheese with a residual content of the drug closantel in the amount of 2.7 micrograms/kg to the Bryansk supermarket," the publication on the agency's website says.
Closantel is an anthelmintic used by veterinarians to treat cattle. The drug effectively fights parasites that feed on animal blood, while it has the ability to accumulate in the body.
Microbial transglutaminase, also discovered, is an enzyme preparation banned for use in food products on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
On April 29, remnants of medicines in dairy, meat and fish products were found in the Svetofor retail chain. In addition, experts found cases of falsification of goods: information about the composition on the packaging did not correspond to reality.
