Experts have found out the attitude of parents to watching cartoons by children


The majority (79%) of parents show their children cartoons every day. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Tricolor for Children's Day.
Cartoons are shown several times a week by 13% of parents; no more than once a week by 6%.
It is also noted that 46% of parents started showing fairy tales to children when they were between 1 and three years old. 18% of the respondents turned on the TV for children under one year old.
When asked how long a child watches cartoons, 31% of respondents answered that they have no restrictions in their family. 20% of adults limit viewing to two hours, 29% to one hour, and 9% to half an hour.
Among the devices on which parents turn on cartoons for children, the TV is the leader — 85%, 10% show content on a smartphone, 3% on a tablet, and 2% on a computer.
The telephone survey was conducted using Tricolor's internal customer database from April 30 to May 6 this year. The statistical error does not exceed 4.89%.
