Signs of anemia may include fatigue, shortness of breath, headaches, and memory loss, but a full-fledged diagnosis is necessary to accurately identify this condition. Hematologist Svetlana Bychkova told Izvestia about this on May 29.

"These are neurological symptoms that are associated with brain hypoxia, such as gait disorders, dizziness, and palpitations, especially with little physical exertion," the specialist listed.

She explained that with anemia, hemoglobin in the blood decreases, which disrupts the functioning of the heart and brain. There can be many reasons for the appearance of pathology. In order to recognize anemia in time, it is necessary to donate blood regularly and monitor the tests.

"Men should be examined most seriously. They very often have diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including malignant ones, when anemia appears," Bychkova emphasized.

On May 25, therapist and cardiologist Andrey Kondrakhin told us what diseases he constantly tends to sleep with. The specialist noted that if a person constantly experiences drowsiness or chronic fatigue, he should consult a doctor.
