Zaur Gurtsiev, the first deputy mayor of Stavropol, who died in the explosion, was scheduled to be appointed Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of the Stavropol Territory. This was announced on May 29 by the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov, in the Telegram channel.

"He was a good person and a promising leader. We planned to take him to work at the regional level. Unfortunately, these plans will no longer come true," the publication says.
