The British Defense Minister announced plans to step up cyber attacks against Russia.

The UK plans to step up cyber attacks against Russia and China. This was announced on May 29 by the country's Defense Minister John Healy, quoted by The Times newspaper.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, over the past few years, the kingdom's defense sector has been subjected to "tens of thousands of cyber attacks," which underlines that such operations are one of the key areas of international rivalry.
"Future conflicts will be won by forces that are better connected and innovate faster. Our system will make it possible to operate with unprecedented speed," said the head of the country's Defense Ministry.
It is reported that the British government has unveiled plans to create a cybersecurity and electromagnetic fields command that will protect against cyber attacks.
"The government plans to invest more than £1 billion by 2027 in a new digital guidance network aimed at improving the integration of weapons systems," The Times said.
Healy noted that the command is being created in response to the allegedly constant and escalating cyber threats.
On April 7, the Russian Embassy in London reported that British media publications about the alleged threat to underwater communications from Russia are actually "fantastic stories." The diplomatic mission noted that Russia has never threatened the security of the kingdom and its inhabitants.
