Lotus cars will be sold in Russia under the Nordcross brand.


In China, a solemn ceremony dedicated to the export of the first batch of Nordcross vehicles to Russia was held at the Heilongjiang North Special Purpose Vehicle plant in Mudanjiang. These models turned out to be Lynk-based machines. & Co and Lotus, the Chinese Cars portal reported on May 29.
One of the Nordcross models is an electric crossover based on the Lotus Eletre. The length of the car is 5,103 mm with a wheelbase of 3019 mm. The peak power of the Eletre varies from 612 to 918 hp, depending on the modification. A full charge of the 112 kWh traction battery is enough for 560-700 km on the CLTC cycle.
Another Nordcross car was a sedan based on the Lotus Emeya (length 5139 mm with a step spacing of 3069 mm). The power plant produces from 612 to 918 hp, depending on the version, and the power reserve is 480-650 km with a 102 kWh battery.
Another Nordcross model shown at the event was the Lynk & Co 09 crossover. Earlier in May, dealers had already announced that it would be named Nordcross 001 in Russia.
In 2017, the Lotus brand became part of the Chinese Geely. The Eletre and Emeya models are manufactured in China.
The day before, it was reported that by the end of 2025, Sinomach Auto plans to expand the dealer network of the Li Auto brand (Lixiang) in Russia to 60 enterprises. The company plans to sell 12,000 Lixiang vehicles by the end of the year.
