The comedy "Neurobatya" became a part of the out-of-competition program of the New Movement Festival of young Cinema

The fantastic comedy "Neurobe" directed by Vitaly Dudka became part of the out-of-competition program of the second festival of young cinema "New Movement", which will be held from May 29 to June 2, 2025 in Veliky Novgorod. The film will be presented in the "Special Screenings" section, which brings together the brightest and most unexpected premieres, on May 31 at 5.15 pm.

"Neurobatya" is a bold and witty statement about the role of a parent, loneliness and an attempt to catch up in the setting of a new technological reality. Starring Denis Vlasenko, Vitaly Khaev, Valentina Lyapina, Nastasia Samburskaya and others. One of the attractions in the movie will be a rooster robot.

According to Vadim Rutkovsky, the festival's program director, the out—of-competition program is "everything, everywhere and at once," the part of the festival that gives volume, relief and freedom: from world premieres and retrospectives to fresh, original voices. Neurobati's participation in this section highlights his unconventionality, genre boldness, and ability to speak about serious topics in an easy and unusual way.

Synopsis:

Grisha, a neurotic IT specialist, creates a unique neural network capable of transferring human consciousness into "smart" devices. But he has to test a unique invention on his own father. The demon, the leader of a criminal organized crime group, finds himself literally in his son's hands, moving from gadget to gadget. They embark on a crazy adventure that will help them rethink their relationship to each other.
