On May 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with families awarded the orders of "Parental Glory" and heroic mothers, instructed them to finalize the work on calculating the periods of care for the fifth and subsequent children in the insurance record.

"As for the credit when calculating the length of service, we will definitely look at it...> We just need to bring this to an end, <...> to put an end to this work," the head of state said.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, in turn, said that a bill on the issue had already been prepared on Putin's instructions and would be submitted to the State Duma in the near future.

On the same day, Putin pointed out the need to create special conditions for families with three or more children. According to the Russian leader, there is a significant increase in the number of large families in the country. He stressed that people's changing orientations are largely related to the examples they see around them.
