During magnetic storms, you should not strain yourself and increase your physical, mental and mental activity. Rustem Gayfutdinov, a neurologist and associate professor of the Department of Neurology at Kazan State Medical University, told Izvestia about this.

On May 29, the Institute of Applied Geophysics reported that a G3 ("strong") magnetic storm had begun on Earth.

"[You can't] overload yourself these days, take on some kind of excessive workload, emergency work, shifts, night shifts, where concentration is even more needed," he stressed.

According to Gaifutdinov, the evolutionarily fine-tuned system of resisting external factors in the human body during magnetic storms works with great tension, "trying to carry out its functions." The deterioration of the condition can be primarily felt by the elderly and people with chronic diseases.

"Especially in people with chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system, blood pressure, coronary artery disease, vascular diseases of the brain, and various types of diabetes, exacerbation and decompensation occur," the neurologist explained.

He added that during the period of disturbance of the Earth's magnetic field, you should get enough sleep, engage in moderate physical activity, avoid stress and eat a balanced diet.

Earlier, on May 17, therapist Lyudmila Lapa stated that magnetic storms have an impact on people with vascular diseases. Therefore, according to the doctor, these days it is necessary to take prescribed medications in full and eat "light healthy food."
