In Ufa, a dog brought the owner an icy human skull, which helped solve a murder committed in a local farming community. This was reported on May 29 by a source of Izvestia.
"On December 23, 2024, a dog brought a strange icy object to a man, who put it in a bucket. In the spring, the summer resident returned to the site and found that the object resembled a human skull," the source said.
The examination revealed that there were blunt force injuries on the skull. Later, skeletal fragments and a passport in the name of a man born in 1963 were found nearby.
It turned out that in the fall of 2024, a 57-year-old man who was aggressive while intoxicated and his missing neighbor lived in a neighboring plot. On May 28, the man confessed to the murder and said that he had killed a comrade with a poker during the conflict.
The suspect was detained, and a criminal case was opened into the incident.
On May 23, a double murder that occurred 22 years ago was solved in Yekaterinburg. It is specified that on January 30, 2003, while extinguishing a fire in an apartment in the Zheleznodorozhny district, the bodies of the owners with signs of violent death were found. A criminal case was initiated, but later suspended.
In March 2025, it resumed, law enforcement officers detained a 43-year-old builder from Dudinka, who confessed that he had killed the owners after an argument while drinking alcohol.
