The leaders of the European Union (EU) countries are preparing Europe for a conflict with Russia, while assigning a key role to Ukraine in their plans. This was announced on May 29 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, speaking at the International Conference of Conservative Political Action in Budapest.

According to the politician, Brussels has already prepared an action plan for the confrontation with Russia.

"The key to this liberal plan is Ukraine. Ukraine's hasty admission to the EU will precede the reorganization of Europe and the militarization of its economy," Orban said. The performance was broadcast by the HirTV channel.

According to the Prime Minister, the EU plan also provides for "centralization of power in the run-up to the conflict."

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on May 27 that the West was in every way inciting Ukraine to continue the conflict with Russia. He also noted that he sees attempts by the EU to disrupt the negotiation process between Moscow and Kiev.
