The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the settlements of Stroevka in the Kharkiv region, Gnatovka and Shevchenko First in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 29 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses. They defeated the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of the settlements of Komar, Zaporizhia, Novopol in the DPR, Temirovka and Gulyai-pole in the Zaporizhia region.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 160 military personnel, six armored combat vehicles, 11 vehicles, two artillery pieces and four electronic warfare stations," the ministry said in a statement.

In addition, Russian air defense systems shot down six US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs, 123 drones, including 47 outside the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The Ministry of Defense noted that since the beginning of its military operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 36,138 units of military equipment.
