Pushilin announced the gradual coverage of the Russian Armed Forces of Krasnoarmeysk in the DPR

The Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) are gradually advancing towards Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on May 29 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"We see that there is a gradual coverage of the city, and, of course, how successful this will be will be seen from the operational situation. The command of our units will make appropriate decisions," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti on the sidelines of the Sirius Road Initiatives Forum.

Pushilin also did not rule out the possibility that the Russian Armed Forces will be able to avoid street fighting during the liberation of the settlement, if certain circumstances arise. According to him, the main task is to preserve the personnel of the Russian army.

In March, Pushilin reported on the conduct of hostilities in the vicinity of Krasnoarmeysk. At the same time, the head of the DPR noted that Ukrainian troops are attempting counterattacks in this direction.
