Orban linked the refusal to accept Ukraine into the EU with a peaceful settlement

In order to achieve a peaceful settlement, Ukraine should not be admitted to the European Union (EU). This was announced on May 29 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"We don't need a new Eastern Front, so we also don't need Ukraine's membership in the EU," he wrote on his Facebook page (owned by the extremist Meta company recognized in Russia, its activities are banned in the Russian Federation).
The head of the Hungarian government also stressed that he wants to achieve peace.
Slovak political scientist on the geopolitical situation in Europe, Zdenek Kedroutek, in an interview with Izvestia on May 27, announced the immediate disintegration of the EU if Ukraine joined the union. He also called the conflict a profitable business for Kiev, from which he receives huge amounts of money from Western countries.
