In Russia, observers recorded 115 violations during the first USE

Observers from among the parents recorded 115 violations during the first USE, Rosobrnadzor reported on May 29.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science noted that they involve parents of students in monitoring the progress of exams. They monitor the observance of the rights of graduates and the progress of the exam.
"4,164 parents attended the first exams at the examination points. The total number of violations recorded by parents was 115," they said.
The observers drew attention to such violations as the presence of unauthorized persons at the examination points, the absence of metal detectors, and assistance to participants during exams from the organizers. It was also recorded that the organizers did not issue drafts or additional answer forms at the request of the exam participants. In addition, some EXAM participants traveled unaccompanied. However, some parents pointed out the lack of facilities for medical professionals, the lack of instruction before the exam, or incomplete instruction.
The service stressed that they will analyze the information received and take action.
The main period of the Unified State Exam began on May 23 with exams in history, literature and chemistry. They were held in all 89 regions of the Russian Federation. About 225,000 people took part in the exams, and 3,426 PES were involved.
Earlier, on May 22, teacher Victoria Podsukhina, head of the regional department of the educational company MAXIMUM Education, told Izvestia that if a graduate did not score the minimum points for obtaining a certificate (24 out of 100 in Russian and 3 out of 5 in basic mathematics), then he would be given another chance on the reserve days of the main period — from June 16-23. If the exam was not completed on these days, a new attempt can be made on the days of retakes on July 3 and 4, or as early as September, during an additional period.
