Military investigators of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation have revealed another crime committed by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result of which a 57-year-old civilian from the Kursk region was injured. This was reported on May 29 in the press service of the department.
It was established that in August 2024, after the illegal invasion of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian militants mined the streets and parts of the Bolshesoldatsky district. As a result, on May 16 of this year, a man was cleaning the warehouse area and received a mine explosion injury after an explosive object ignited in his hands. The victim revealed the circumstances during the interrogation.
"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under paragraphs "a", "b", Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act"). During the investigation, forensic examinations were appointed to clarify the severity of the injury to the victim's health," the Investigative Committee of Russia said in a statement.
It is specified that the investigators are conducting a check to identify all the Ukrainian militants involved in the crime.
On May 28, investigators opened a criminal case on a terrorist attack on the fact that a 42-year-old man was wounded by an APU drone in the village of Goncharovka, Kursk region. It was clarified that Ukrainian militants attacked a civilian car, a civilian received shrapnel wounds.
