Forecasters predicted a rainy weekend in Moscow

On the weekend of May 31 and June 1, Muscovites expect mostly cloudy weather. Rain is expected on both days. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on May 29.

According to them, on Saturday, May 31, it will be cloudy in Moscow, rain is expected during the day. Gusts of weak south-westerly wind will reach up to 4 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +20 degrees, in the afternoon it will remain at +22...+24 degrees, and by nightfall it will drop to morning values.

"In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature during the day will be about + 22 degrees," forecasters said.

On Sunday, June 1, the weather in Moscow will be mostly cloudy, with rain possible in the morning. The temperature in the morning will be +17...+18 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +20...+22 degrees, and at night it will remain at +13...+14 degrees. However, moderate winds are expected, with gusts reaching 5 m/s in the afternoon. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka), the temperature will be 1 degree higher throughout the day than in other parts of the city.

In the Moscow region, according to Yandex Weather, conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: light rain is expected, and the temperature will be at the Moscow level or a maximum of 1 degree lower.

Earlier, on May 28, Yuri Varakin, head of the Roshydromet Situation center, said that the heat wave in Moscow would subside on Friday, May 30. The specialist noted that the days will be very warm until Saturday. He also warned that the beginning of June would not please residents of the capital with such abnormally high temperatures.
