The second Russian Agility Championship will be held in Moscow.

The second championship of the Russian Cynological Federation in agility, a sports discipline for dogs to overcome obstacle courses, will be held in the capital. The competition will be held on May 31 at the Cynological Park on Kolskaya St. in Babushkinsky district with the support of the Moscow government.
In agility, dogs must overcome obstacles — tunnels, barriers, slalom and swings — under the control of a handler who can only give voice commands and gestures without touching the pet. Representatives of different breeds will take part in the tournament — from border collies and shelties to mongrel dogs.
The event will be part of a large dog training weekend. In addition to the main competitions, visitors will enjoy training workshops, veterinary consultations, and communication with groomers. The organizers will prepare game activities, master classes, photo zones, contests and quizzes for children. Shade shelters, drinking bowls, recreation areas and a veterinary first aid station will be equipped in the park. There is also a catering area for guests in the park.
The tournament is organized by the Russian Kennel Federation (RCF), the country's largest organization uniting professional dog handlers, breeders, sports clubs and dog lovers. In particular, the RCF promotes such canine disciplines as agility, obedience (standard of obedience), dancing with dogs, and conducts a general training course.
