The State Duma told about the laws coming into force in June

Starting from June 1, a number of legislative changes will begin to take effect in Russia aimed at protecting citizens, strengthening business control and supporting ITS participants. This was announced on May 29 by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, in his Telegram channel.
Among the key changes is a ban on the use of foreign messengers to inform citizens by banks, government agencies, telecom operators and marketplaces.
A new rule has also been introduced: messages with access codes to "Public Services" will not be received during telephone conversations. It is specified that these measures will help protect citizens from fraudsters and financial losses.
In addition, according to Volodin, conducting business without prior notice will be considered a violation. This will eliminate attempts to avoid inspections, as well as identify counterfeit products, which will have a positive impact on consumer safety.
The speaker of the State Duma recalled that since May 23, two laws have already entered into force concerning the support of participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their families. In particular, they provide benefits for admission to universities for children of military personnel.
"Since 2022, 130 laws have been adopted aimed at helping the defenders of our country and their loved ones," Volodin concluded.
On May 28, it was reported that the State Duma adopted in the first reading a bill that stipulates that the spouses of deceased members of the SVR can use their vehicles before issuing a certificate of inheritance. The document provides for a mechanism for the notary to issue a certificate of the spouse's right to temporary use of a vehicle, which was the personal property of the deceased participant of the SVO.
