The popular science reality project "Overclocking Cosmos" has brought together the most inventive and creative teenagers across Russia in order to give them the opportunity to try themselves in various fields, including the creation of satellite facilities. As part of the show, teams of schoolchildren from different regions of the Russian Federation launch satellites they have assembled into the stratosphere.
A new team of schoolchildren from the Moscow Region joined the fight for victory. Despite strong gusts of wind, they were able to lift their balloon into the air. One of the participants, Alexander Kuprin, noted that the development was rising briskly, as it was able to reach a height of 3 km under weather conditions. The process itself takes several minutes while the student pumps the balloon shell with helium.
"The guys did it well. They faced certain difficulties, but thanks to our supervisors, thanks to the support, including from Roscosmos, and consultations with real cosmonauts, they managed to collect everything," said Anna Dunaeva, coordinator of the Razgon youth community.
All schoolchildren involved in reality TV are members of the all-Russian community "Movement of the First". Arina Safuanova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the community, noted that children have a request for participation, which implies being important and benefiting society. She called the project applied and important for the region, which, according to her, unites children, universities, and industries.
Overclocking Cosmos is one of Innopraktika's projects and is aimed at attracting young people to engineering specialties, as well as to the scientific field. In addition, there are other profiles, including "Constellation Dispersal", agro, folklore, and career. It is noted that hundreds of students and schoolchildren from 45 regions participated in them.
"There are a lot of Overclocking projects to give the guys the opportunity to feel and try themselves in absolutely different fields of activity, but at the same time, first of all, we always keep a clear personnel policy in mind so that the specialties that we offer the guys to try, so that they are in demand in the real sector here and now," — Natalia Popova, First Deputy General Director of Innopraktika, emphasized.
Videos with "crackdowns" are gaining millions of views on the VK platform, and episodes of a new reality show are also published there. What is happening on the project is being monitored by the presenters, who are cosmonaut Andrei Babkin and future cosmonaut, engineer Yana Minyailo. According to her, the guys faced their own personal challenges and were able to overcome them.
The finale of the show is scheduled for September this year. The names of the winners will be announced at the great astronomical festival "Movements of the First" – "Gagarin's Star".
On April 4, it was reported that the new youth project "Dispersal" is gaining popularity among students and schoolchildren throughout Russia. Thanks to the platform, participants from all over the country can complete training in various specialties, communicate with professionals or interview them. Overclocking is a project that aims to unite, captivate and inspire young people from all over the country.
