Integration processes within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are developing dynamically and fruitfully. This was stated on May 29 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in congratulating the leaders of the union countries on the EAEU Day.

"A common market has been created, ensuring the freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor. National legal regulation systems are being harmonized in the most important areas, and joint economic and infrastructure projects are being successfully implemented," the Kremlin's Telegram channel quoted him as saying.

In addition, the head of state expressed confidence that the EAEU countries would jointly enhance constructive multilateral cooperation "for the benefit of their peoples, in the interests of ensuring well—being and stability in the Eurasian space."

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk said on March 28 that the gross domestic product (GDP) of the EAEU grew by 4.2% last year. In his opinion, such growth became possible due to the transition to uniform mandatory requirements for goods and the elimination of annual customs control for the period 2015-2023. The Deputy Prime Minister also added that mutual trade was on average 24% higher due to the actions taken.
