In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 13-year-old teenager was involved in an accident in his mother's car.

In the Shushensky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 13-year-old teenager got behind the wheel of his mother's car while the woman was at work and got into an accident. The circumstances of the accident, which was reported on May 29 by the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are being established by traffic police officers.

The accident occurred in the area of the 3rd km of the Shunery–Sayansk road. Also in the car was a friend of the boy, whom he took for a ride. The 14-year-old passenger was not injured.

"A 13-year-old teenager driving a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado car, moving from Sayansk towards Shuner, lost control and allowed the exit into the left ditch in the course of movement, followed by a rollover," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the minor driver was not wearing a seat belt. During the accident, he was thrown onto the roadway, and the teenager was taken to a medical facility. An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the owner of the car in accordance with Part 3 of Article 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Transfer of control of a vehicle to a person who obviously does not have the right to drive a vehicle"). It is necessary to pay a fine of 30 thousand rubles.

The issue of involving the teenager's parents is also being resolved under Article 5.35 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure by parents or other legal representatives of minors to fulfill their responsibilities for the maintenance and upbringing of minors").

The relationship with the victim was recognized as a mitigating circumstance.

Before that, on May 24, two teenagers died in an accident involving a car and a moped in Mari El. The State Traffic Inspectorate in the region reported that the collision occurred as a result of a violation of the safe distance by the driver of the car. The moped was driven by a 16-year-old driver, along with a 17-year-old passenger. They died on the spot.
