Al Jazeera reported the destruction of Yemen's last civilian aircraft

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out four strikes on Yemen's main airport in the capital Sanaa, destroying the last Yemenia Airways civilian aircraft. This was reported on May 29 by Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
"Khaled al-Shaif, Director General of Sanaa International Airport, wrote that as a result of the strike, the last of the civilian aircraft operated by Yemen Airways from the airport was completely destroyed," the TV channel noted.
Katz said that this strike was a clear signal and a continuation of the country's policy.
"Whoever shoots at the state of Israel will pay a heavy price," the Israeli defense minister said.
Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said the attack was carried out to put pressure on the group to show solidarity in support of Palestinians suffering under Israeli fire in Gaza.
Earlier, on May 27, the Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah announced a new attack on Ben Gurion airport in Israel using two ballistic missiles.
