Neighbors of the Mowgli child found in Krasnodar told details about his family

On May 29, neighbors of the Mowgli child found in Krasnodar told Izvestia about the closed and antisocial lifestyle of his relatives.
"I saw that they (the boy's mother and grandmother. — Ed.) stood behind the garages in our yard. They seemed very strange to me. They looked very untidy, <...> and they were hiding the child, covering themselves," said Oksana Laskovets, a neighbor of the women.
The residents' attention was also attracted by the constant screams that rang out in the house every day in the morning and evening.
The child's mother and grandmother refused to make contact with the concerned neighbors. Also, according to the residents, the women led a closed lifestyle, did not communicate or even greet their neighbors.
The discovery of a disabled child in Krasnodar became known a day earlier. The boy was completely isolated from society from birth. According to the child, he had not left the apartment for several years, ate bread, and last washed more than a year ago. The child is currently being placed in a rehabilitation center.
