North Korea has completed the reconstruction of a railway station on the border with Russia

The reconstruction of the railway station near the Tumannaya River, located near the Russian border, has been completed in the DPRK. This was reported on May 29 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"Tumangan station was built with the understanding that it is located on the state border, but now it will be able to contribute to the modernization of railways and provide passengers with a high level of comfort," the agency reports.

It is specified that the ceremony of completion of construction works took place the day before, on May 28. The event was attended by officials, railway transport workers, station staff and construction workers.

Earlier, on May 26, the State Duma announced the arrival of the DPRK parliamentary delegation to Russia. It is specified that this year a representative delegation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation will take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Founding Day of the Workers' Party of Korea, which will be held in October. In turn, the Russian Federation expects the arrival of Korean colleagues in the near future.
