The air defense forces repelled an attack by three APU drones en route to Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Thursday, May 29, announced the repulse of an attack by three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Moscow region.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense has repelled an attack by three drones attacking the Moscow region," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Later, the mayor reported that some fragments had fallen on Vernadsky Avenue, but had not caused serious damage. Emergency services are working at the crash site.

The Ministry of Defense clarifies that any terrorist attacks and provocations by Kiev will not go unanswered.

The day before, Sobyanin reported that the air defense forces shot down four Ukrainian UAVs flying to Moscow. After that, it became known about the destruction of eight more drones on approach to the capital. Later, the mayor also reported on the repulse of the drone attack in Zelenograd.
