Manturov commented on the process of creating an agricultural hub in Qatar

The creation of an agro-industrial hub in Qatar is under development, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov confirmed to Izvestia.

On the Middle East side: Putin called Qatar one of Russia's priority partners

The President noted Doha's efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and discussed with the Emir assistance to the Syrian people.

"This has been discussed, and we are continuing to work on it," he told Izvestia in response to a question about the status of the negotiations.

According to him, there are no specific agreements yet.

For the first time, the idea of creating a regional agro-industrial hub in Qatar was presented in March 2025. Then Manturov said that Russia was also ready to increase exports of halal agricultural products. The list of products includes beef, poultry, sunflower oil and confectionery.
