The number of military deaths in the explosion in Mexico has increased to eight

The number of soldiers who died as a result of an improvised device explosion on the border between the states of Michoacan and Jalisco has increased to eight. This was reported on May 28 by the newspaper El Universal.
"As a result of this incident, eight soldiers were killed, which was the largest number of victims in the Mexican army since it became known that criminal gangs operating in Michoacan and Jalisco, such as the Jalisco New Generation cartel, recruited former Colombian soldiers to plant improvised explosives," the publication says..
It is specified that the dead soldiers were inside an armored car and patrolled the territory for which several cartels are fighting.
The bombing of a Mexican army vehicle became known earlier that day. It was reported that six planes and four helicopters were sent to the scene to provide assistance.
