Russian hockey players Simashev and Booth signed contracts with HC Yuta

The Utah Hockey Club of the National Hockey League (NHL) has signed three-year contracts with Russian striker Daniil Booth and defenseman Dmitry Simashev. This was announced on May 28 on the website of the club's press service.

"Dmitry has established himself as one of the best promising defensemen in the NHL, and we look forward to watching him play for Utah for many years," HC general manager Bill Armstrong said in a statement.

Simashev previously played in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for Lokomotiv. Playing for the club from Yaroslavl, he played 137 games. Booth is also a native of Lokomotiv and played 124 matches in the KHL.

On April 21, Russian striker Zakhar Bardakov signed a one-year contract with the NHL club Colorado Avalanche. It is specified that the contract is for one year and is designed for the 2025/26 season.
