- Putin instructed to develop a concept for the development of adaptive sports until 2036

Until 2030 and for the future until 2036, it is necessary to develop a concept for the development of adaptive sports and physical education. This was announced on May 28 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Council for Physical Education and Sports.
"I ask you to develop a concept for the development of adaptive sports and adaptive physical culture for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036, as well as a plan for appropriate measures," Putin said.
He called the development of an idea and its implementation a complex task that involves working together. Putin said he was counting on the participation of the government, the presidential administration, the State Council and other organizations in the development of this concept.
The Russian President also instructed to direct extra-budgetary funds, including from the Russian sports Fund, to promote projects aimed at adaptive sports.
On April 14, Putin instructed Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of Russia and head of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC), to continue supporting sports federations, as well as to provide assistance to the Ministry of Sports and the ROC. In particular, the head of state demanded to reduce the financial burden on families for playing sports.
