The improvement of the park began in Murmashi in the Murmansk region

Landscaping of the park area on Moskovskaya Street has begun in the village of Murmashi in the Kola district of the Murmansk region. The municipal administration informs about this on its page on the VKontakte social network.

According to the project, the park area will be fully landscaped. The contractor will have to asphalt the paths, install new benches and bins, make a playground for workshops, install video surveillance and lighting systems.

Local authorities note that the birch grove located to the left of the entrance will be left untouched. There will only be paths and benches. This area was identified as a place for quiet relaxation.

The improvement of the park is carried out according to the strategic development plan "To live in the North!". 8.2 million rubles will be allocated for the work.

According to Bi-port news agency, initially it was planned to spend 6.2 million rubles from the local budget and 4 million rubles from the regional budget on the project. The landscaping is expected to be completed by August 1, 2025.
