The psychologist gave graduates advice on choosing a profession

Anna Mukhina, a psychologist and career consultant, urged parents not to force a child into a particular profession, even if it is in demand.
In an interview with Radio 1 on May 7, the specialist noted that if the IT sector is in demand, a child can be humanitarian-oriented.
"It is necessary that the profession is suitable and liked, only then can a person achieve success. Moreover, we know that there are successful people in different professions," Mukhina said.
According to her, a parent should take the role of a supportive and understanding adviser at the time of choosing a university, provide the child with maximum information and try to help them feel inclined to a particular occupation.
"To do this, you need to send him to different sections, clubs, and develop his hobbies during school time. So that in his senior year he understands what he wants to do seriously," the psychologist explained.
She stressed that it is important that the child gradually receives an increasing dose of responsibility for his life, since it is during adolescence that the process of psychological separation of the child from his parental family takes place. It is better if this does not happen abruptly and immediately.
On May 27, psychologist Veronika Vinokurova advised that when choosing an education, first of all, focus on your life plans and the chosen professional vector. However, you should be realistic about your abilities, motivation, and level of knowledge.
On May 26, a series of psychological lectures on preparation for the Unified State Exam ended in Moscow. Practicing psychologists, scientists and star guests helped high school students cope with stress during exam preparation, the Moscow City News Agency reports. The goal of the project was to support graduates, teach them how to calmly endure emotional and intellectual overloads, and deal with worries, writes RT.
Earlier, psychologist Tatiana Korobova said that during the USE period, parents should take care of the graduate's proper daily routine, so that there is enough time not only to repeat the studied material, but also to have active rest. Outdoor recreation is also important, where there will be no textbooks or the Internet, the website notes. kp.ru .
