11 children were injured in the mass poisoning on the ship Mikhail Bulgakov, which was en route from St. Petersburg to Moscow. This was announced on May 28 by a source of Izvestia.

"The minors sought medical help with suspected rotavirus infection," the source explained.

There are 400 passengers on board the ship. According to the source, the ship has a doctor and the necessary supply of medicines. It is noted that the ship arrived in Uglich for a scheduled parking at a separate berth, where a medical examination will be carried out by three ambulance crews. There are no plans to delay the ship.

As specified in the Telegram channel of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Yaroslavl region, the department's staff immediately began conducting a sanitary and epidemiological investigation into cases of acute intestinal infection (AKI) in passengers. The specialists of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Yaroslavl Region selected food samples and conducted a complex of laboratory tests.

On May 24, a mass poisoning occurred in the children's sanatorium "Orlyonok" in the Perm region of the Perm Territory. According to the Izvestia source, an acute intestinal infection was detected in 35 children. A complex of anti-epidemic and preventive measures is carried out in the sanatorium.
