The fire in the Astrakhan region spread to 27 country houses

In the Dorozhnik gardening association in the Astrakhan region, a fire spread to 27 houses and other buildings. This was reported on May 28 in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

"More than 60 employees of the regional and district police, employees of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and 18 units of special equipment are working in an enhanced mode," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the Interior Ministry, strong winds complicate fire extinguishing. The department added that the police cordoned off the scene for the passage of fire equipment, in particular, traffic is restricted in the village of Karaagash.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a fire broke out in the Astrakhan region with a front of 10 km. It was clarified that the dry grass caught fire in the garden association. A fire train was used to fight the fire.
