The flight schedule at the airports of the Moscow region has been stabilized. This was announced on May 28 by the official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"The airports of the Moscow region — Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky — are operating normally, sending and receiving planes, and the flight schedule is stable," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

As of 18:00 Moscow time, 51 aircraft took off from alternate airfields. From 10:00 Moscow time, the number of flights with a delay of more than two hours decreased by 83% — by 18:00 there were only nine such flights left.

Korenyako added that airline and airport specialists are providing assistance to passengers on delayed and canceled routes.

Earlier in the day, temporary flight restrictions were imposed at Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports, as well as at Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports. The decision was made to ensure security. Later it became known about the cancellation of these measures.
