By 2030, more than 800 Moscow companies, including 60% of all large and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing industry, are expected to participate in the federal Labor Productivity project. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

Since the beginning of 2025, 46 Moscow enterprises have joined the project, the mayor noted in his Telegram channel. Among them are companies from the fields of construction, transportation and storage, and tourism.

"The goal is to increase efficiency, reduce losses and solve the problem of personnel shortages," Sobyanin stressed. He also said that productivity improvement projects are being launched in Moscow in government agencies and organizations subordinate to the city.

The Labor Productivity project approved by the President of the Russian Federation is aimed at improving the efficiency of domestic enterprises and helping to solve the problem of shortage of personnel in the labor market. Moscow has been involved in the project since 2022. During this time, 419 enterprises of the capital joined it.

As a result, labor productivity in participating companies increased by an average of 53%. The timing of production processes and the volume of unfinished inventory were also reduced by a third. In addition, staff salaries increased by 30% on average. The total benefit of companies from the implementation of the national project in the capital is more than 13.5 billion rubles, Sobyanin said.
