There were problems with the translator at the press conference of Merz and Zelensky.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz interrupted the speech of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during their joint press conference due to problems with simultaneous interpretation. The broadcast was conducted on May 28 on the YouTube channel of The Guardian newspaper.
After Merz's speech, Zelensky began to deliver a speech in Ukrainian, but soon the German Chancellor interrupted him and informed him that there was no translation coming into his earphone.
"They don't transfer money to you? Still? And now?" Zelensky asked after that.
As specified by "Gazeta.Ru", Merz referred to problems with modern technology, to which the president stated that "everything is fine."
Earlier that day, at a press conference with Zelensky, Merz said that Germany would support Ukraine in developing its own long-range weapons. He added that Berlin and Kiev plan to establish joint production of long-range missiles, but did not disclose details. Merz also again announced the lifting of restrictions on the range of use for weapons supplied to Ukraine.
