The clapping in the Omsk region was explained by artillery tests

The clapping that sounded on the territory of the Omsk region turned out to be hydraulic firing during the tests of artillery systems. This was announced on May 28 by the administration of the Pushkin rural settlement on the VKontakte social network.
"As part of the implementation of the state defense order for the repair of RAV equipment (self—propelled artillery installations) on the territory of the Ministry of Defense in the area of the concrete road (village of Khvoyny) on May 28, 2025, firing tests (hydraulic firing) will be conducted," the publication says.
Earlier in the day, the governor of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khotsenko, in a video message on the Telegram channel, spoke about the verification of information about cotton by law enforcement agencies. According to him, "no problematic issues have been identified."
On April 9, the R-18 and R-19 missile boats of the Primorsky Flotilla of the Pacific Fleet's diverse forces conducted artillery firing at sea and air targets. The exercises were conducted as part of the planned combat training in Peter the Great Bay.
